Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you some details about the #MarathonforMMIWG2S that I'm running with a few friends to raise money for a charity near and dear to our hearts.
The Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women is a non-profit organization that helps bring education and awareness to folks all over North America about the difficulties living as a Native Woman (Girl, or Two Spirit Person) and uplifting communities through social media and in-person events as well as working toward passing meaningful legislation (within the US) to help marginalized communities.

Alicia (ResistStitch IG), Michelle (Bendy Stitchy), Jessi (MislaidPages), Erin (2MartiniStitcher), and I are using our platforms for the third year in a row to use crafting as a way to expose our audiences to this work and raise as much money as possible for the cause from February-March, 2024. Our individual goals are to reach a target of $1,000 raised, which combined would give us a total of $5,000 to give to CSVANW. We are using the platform 99Pledges to keep track of the funds and will transfer all to CSVANW when the Marathon is complete.
